The location was perfect for enjoying some fishing in the area. The kids loved exploring the nearby rivers and trying their luck at catching some fish. As for the lodge itself, it was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The internet connection was excellent, allowing us to stream our favorite shows and keep the kids entertained during any downtime. We highly recommend Hillside Lodge for a family getaway!

For dads, it would be great if there was a small playground or outdoor play area for the children.

Stunning Bedrooms: The four stunning bedrooms at this hotel were like stepping into a time machine. The genuine antique stylings transported me to a bygone era, and the four poster bed in one of the rooms made me feel like royalty. It was pure luxury and comfort!

The location of the lodge is perfect, with bars and restaurants just a short walk away. the lodge itself is beautifully decorated, with comfortable and cosy bedrooms. the host is extremely helpful and welcoming, providing a basket of provisions on arrival. the fully enclosed back garden is great for families with children or pets.

There is nothing negative to note about the lodge or the host's hospitality.

The lodge itself was beautifully decorated and cosy, with a wood burning stove that kept us warm in the evenings. Our host, Toni, was incredibly thoughtful, leaving us a basket of goodies and even helping us out when the wifi briefly went down. I can't wait to come back!
